A Ham Sandwich With Joyce

This evening I was eating my ham sandwich and listening to Joyce Myers.  I always enjoy her because she keeps it simple, speaks to where we're at, and does it all with a sense of humor.  Besides that, she has the most amazing testimony of the healing grace of God.  She's a living testimony of what God can do in a life yielded totally to Him.

To summarize her message, she said we, as Believers beat ourselves up too much.  Of course, the devil helps us in that department.  But then she began to say we will never be able to live a victorious life until we realize who we are in Jesus Christ.  I totally agree with her.  I believe that right believing produces right living.  Her message reminded me of Christ's love for us and what He did at Calvary.  Just like the old song me and my sisters use to sing, "Life Begins At Calvary" and it absolutely does.

As she was talking about the goodness of Jesus Christ it brought tears to my eyes.  I thank God for His Son, Jesus Christ!  I'm so thankful Jesus was willing to come and die on Calvary.  Where would you and I be if He had not been willing to come?  Thank God, He was willing to drink the bitter cup of suffering for you and I.
