This song is what I use as my theme song on my radio broadcast, "The Believer's Walk". I like it because not only is it upbeat, the lyrics are about following Jesus every day. That's what The Believer's Walk is endeavoring to do-----make disciples for Jesus Christ. Plus, the Bible says to take up your cross daily and follow Him.
It's all about Jesus and what He did for us on Calvary. We are trying to "do, do, do", when Jesus says it's "done, done, done."
The Lord is my Shepherd. The Lord loves me. He takes care of me. He protects me just like the shepherd takes care of and protects the sheep and just like the sheep I need a Shepherd. I need a shepherd because just like the sheep I'm dumb and don't know what's best for me. I am weak, but He is strong. I am so grateful for the Good Shepherd. Because of Him, I have no wants. I do not want for food, finances, family, friends, health, or any other good thing. My Jesus loves me and I love Him. We walk together and commune together. He is MY personal Shepherd. He is the Good Shepherd.
